This was a dedicated trip just to photograph the humpback whales of the island of Rurutu. One of the islands of French polynesia in the middle of the pacific ocean.It was a wonderful experience to be so close to such amazing creatures
They were so gentle and so powerfull.
All these shots were taken with a digital D100 in sea and sea housing no flash.
We could only us our snorkles to watch the whales but that was fine. |
